This circular saw is the lightest weight saw with an electric brake in the high power 15 amp class. The motor is all ball and needle bearings for durability. Two second electric brake stops blade quickly for greater convenience. Magnesium construction allows the base and blade guard to be both lightweight and rugged. The base has edges 1-inch and 5 inches from the blade for easy set up of cutting with an edge guide. A unique miter lip protrudes below the guard to prevent guard hang-ups at all angles. A dust nozzle allows direction of dust away from the operator or the project. Adjustable angle stops allow precise positioning of 90-degree and 45-degree cuts. Ability to adjust to 93 degrees and 48 degrees maximum allows for cutting door edges. For easy blade changes, a spindle lock is standard. One year warranty with a 30 day performance certification. Includes saw, 18 tooth carbide-tipped Riptide blade #12800, blade wrench #48309, dust nozzle #39333, heavy-duty carrying case and operating manual.
