Designed for accuracy, durability, versatility and visibility, DeWalt's heavy-duty cordless rotary laser is designed for interior and exterior applications on both residential and commercial sites. Among others, it is ideal for ceiling and wall installers, concrete workers, masons, remodelers and deck builders. The DW073 is a manually leveled rotary laser that has dual side-by-side laser diodes for an extremely bright beam and is accurate to +/- 1/4-inch at 100-feet radius (+/- 1/8-inch at 50-feet) with a visible diameter of 200-feet. Long-range leveling to 600-feet is possible with the digital laser detector. Laser set up is quick and easy with the tool's built-in 3-in-1 floor mount, adjustable rack-and-pinion wall mount, and 5/8-inch-by-11 threaded tripod insert. A quick release lever allows the laser head to pivot instantly for horizontal or vertical applications. The variable speed setting controls the beam rotation from 0-to-600 rpm. Once the unit is set up, a built-in bump sensor alerts the user if the tool is accidentally bumped, ensuring accurate and consistent beam position. For jobsire durability, the rotary laser has a die-cast metal protective cap and a rugged side-impact roll cage. Power for the unit comes from the DeWalt battery system, with up to 14-hours of contiuous runtime from an 18-volt XR+ battery pack. For quick-change compatibility, the rotary laser accepts DeWalt battery packs from 9.6-to-18-volt. The DW073KD includes laser, 18-volt XR+ battery, charger, laser target card, laser enhancement glasses, digital laser detector, detector clamp and kit box.
